The Martin Family

Martin family group photo in a driveway.

The Martin family started Log Country Cove in 2001 with 170 acres of raw Texas Hill Country land. Each year the business added more and more custom Log Homes and 21 years later they have built a successful family business, always adding new grandchildren to the mix. Each member of the Martin crew brings something special to the table and we couldn’t do it with out each one of them.

We do have 1-6 bedroom properties available for nightly rentals. Many of our homes with 3 or more bedrooms have private hot tubs and/or pools. Most pools can be heated during the off-season (between Labor Day weekend and the beginning of May) by request only for an additional cost. The cost is totally dependent upon the ever-changing Texas weather: the colder the weather, the more the cost as guests pay the actual cost of heating the pool. Call (512) 756-9132 at least 24 hours prior to arrive for scheduling a pool to be heated.

Part of the beauty of Log Country Cove is the natural surroundings that have been preserved for your enjoyment. Our Sarayu Trail winds through our 175 acres which is decorated by Mother Nature during each season. The country settings allow for conveniences such as internet, but with limitations. Some homes provide internet access, but service cannot be guaranteed. Some of our homes cannot get service at all because of their location. For your convenience, internet is available in the office and in the immediate area surrounding it.

One of the unique benefits of renting with Log Country Cove is the access to the commons area right on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ. Whether you rent a house on the water, cove, or even one off-water with Hill Country Views, you will always have access to the commons area and Lake LBJ.

Log Country Cove furnishes linens and dishes. We also get you started with trash bags, shampoo, soap, kleenex, and toilet paper; however you will need to furnish any items you need more of. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, lake towels, fishing tackle, floats, paper towels, charcoal, coffee, etc…
